You know what's cool as heck?
Battlefront on PSP.
Battlefront II came first, and it wasn't that good. It was great on everything else! Just not on PSP. The face buttons are used for aiming, which just makes the game clunky. I can't remember which maps were missing (if any) but it's basically the full game in portable form. Neat!
But Renegade Squadron was some h o t. You play through a campaign with an actual story and a sweet protagonist, and can customize your characters for Instant Action and Galactic Conquest. All the staple features of the series are present, it's sick, this is such an underrated entry in the franchise.
Elite Squadron though? This would probably get people even more excited. The campaign has been ramped up in a major way, with new heroes and villains, and a returning mentor from The Force Unleashed as well. Instant Action and Galactic Conquest again return with even more customization, and this time offer that sick feature so many had wanted from Battlefront: battles that take place in both land and space. One moment you'll be firing a cannon at the enemy's lead ship in orbit, the next you'll be grabbing a starfighter and making your way on-board to initiate a self-destruct, and then hop in an escape pod to get your boots back on the ground.
LISTEN what I'm getting at is that the PSP Battlefronts offer a sick amount of content and features, more than even the original games, and EA can't fucking compete. lmao launching a game without space battles LMAO NO GALACTIC CONQUEST L̵̨̯̬̙͖͇̫̗͎͞M̡̭̞͖̩͙͇̪̙͜A̲̰̰̺̝ͅO̪̩̣̺̟͕̟ͅ ̧͓̝͉̞͍̻͎̳͟ͅN̡͔͔͞O̶̢̦̭͔͚̦͍ͅͅ ̢͉̱͇̞ͅĹ͎͓̦͚̯̱̘͢A̸̙̬̰̟Ń̵̯̗̟͎̝̕D̦͓̮̟͈͜͝-̬͚̖͜T͏̤̘̤O̬̘-͕̼͉̟͇̺̣͚ͅS̵̝̤͖̯̖̥P̰̱͚̤̱̤A͡҉̫̼͚͓Ć̵̗̻̻̲͓̬̫̘͞Ḛ̵̢̻͎̗ ͚̫̝̩̠͘T̫̟̕ͅͅR̳͍̮̲͎͝Ą̸̸̣͈̞̟̜͍̝N̴͙̗͜S̗̻I̸͟҉͍̹̞͙̼Ț̵̡̝̖I̥̥̝̜̲͕͙͘O̤̰̣ͅN҉̟̟̜͎̠ͅŚ̶̷̬̬̥̼̰Loading …
