I watched some more of that Dr Eric Berg guy and decided to try his solution for a post nasal drip that I've had for 23 years. Nothing else has worked. But it actually is working, it's better now than at any point. And my night vision is improving too, but to be fair I also eat carrots and not just what he says, but it seems that I DID have a deficiency in retinol or vitamin A or whatever.

I think his keto diet is absolute rubbish though, the human body needs fibre and veggie vitamins and things. Keto is unsustainable long term imo.

Editing … I was surprised to find out he is a conman just because he's so bland that I lost interest in him anyway. Rather than promoting an extreme diet which would've been more stereotypical, he seemingly goes the safe route and regurgitates what he reads from articles and Wikipedia, and a sound board for accepted trends such as apple cider vinegar. And always with the fucking whiteboards!

Editing … Yeah, tbf I did read about his advice years ago but was unsure how nasal irrigation and garlic etc could do what medication couldn't. I'm sure he's just repeating it. But hey, if it works it works! Maybe all the old tales of natural remedies has some substance after all.

Editing … It's no placebo Klem, my post nasal drip has almost stopped. It starts with temperature changes such as leaving a warm house into the cold in a morning and it's like, 95% better. It hasn't been this good in decades. I've had to stop nasal irrigation every day my nose got a bit sore after doing it for a week but that's normal apparently. After 2 or 3 days it was clear that it really does work.

Editing … I'm not sure about the garlic, but I was more referring to your eyesight. That's such a difficult thing to see objectively. Eyesight is always in flux even throughout the day. If you really got vit A deficiency you really had a shit diet because that's some basic stuff.

Editing … I've had 2 early starts this week driving country roads in the dark and I've been absolutely fine and sometimes I really struggle. My poor night vision is the reason I went and got glasses about 18 months ago. I guess time will tell, but I am 44 and my eyes are starting to get worse so we'll just have to see. Pun intended. I don't know how my eyes would be bad then get good just all by themselves, so something changed.

Editing … There are times when my diet is total crap. Because of work I'll end up eating McDonald's from motorway services all week and I only get time to do something quick at home, like maybe a microwave rice and a tin of tuna. So maybe with my eyes starting to decline and the shit diet together my night vision drops quite quickly. I dunno. But it worried me enough to get glasses, and now I don't need them.

Editing … It can be anything that helped your eyes even things like rest do your eyes good. Eye health is much more than vitamin a but yeh don't do McDonalds. That's not food and it will kill you slowly. You are an elderly man. You need to take care of yourself.

Editing … Michael Jordan loved mcdonald's. Maybe there's something to it. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/eVEQxyb65Ao "he ate a steak before every game" LOL. That's actually considered healthy now.

Here's a medical fact for you guys:

If a woman drinks two glasses of wine a day it increases the chances of a stroke. If you let her finish the bottle she'll probably suck it too.
