    OMG, lol
"In the early stages of development, the game’s title underwent several changes before the final name was decided. Notably, an early working title, "Croc: Legend of Goebbels", was briefly considered. This incident arose from a misunderstanding within the development team. The game’s primary designer, inspired by the name "Gobbos", which referred to the small, furry creatures in the game, mistakenly believed "Goebbels" to be an appropriate and quirky variation. Unbeknownst to the team, this name was a reference to Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi Minister of Propaganda. The error went unnoticed until an intern with a background in history brought it to the team’s attention. Realizing the potential implications of associating a children’s game with a controversial historical figure, the team quickly moved to rectify the mistake."

I was 6 years old when I played this. It wasn't my first game but it was the first one I went to the shop and picked out for myself and it was my first platformer.
I know now that it owes a lot to Mario 64 and that the cute mascot, moveset and fire/ice/forest themed levels/bosses you jump, stomp and spin your way through weren't anything incredibly special but I got a lot of joy out of it back in the day so it's on my list for nostalgia's sake. I have a vivid memory of my little sister stepping on the CD and me getting very upset I couldn't play it any more.
