Some people call this the gaming equivalent of a Michael Bay movie and I'd say that pretty much sums it up. It's cinematic and impressive but it isn't going to be a classic. The campaign is too scripted and the multiplayer is nowhere near balanced enough for that.
It's strengths come from building off the same formula as Modern Warfare and that means it's a solid game, but it brings nothing new to the table, doesn't have the same impact and it goes backwards in a few ways.
The plot holes, the glitches and the ridiculous amount of hype before it launched bugged me too. It's not a bad game by any means and it gets things right but it isn't in the same league as Call of Duty 4 for me.
