#Nanook of the North
It's a bit cheeky to call this movie a documentary, a lot of the scenes are scripted and staged, but it's still real people in their real habitat doing things they actually do. So docudrama is a better word. Anyhow, Nanook is a very interesting movie. Documentaries really benefit from sound, but it's beautiful in a way to see this in complete silence. Still it's a bit dumb and overly glorifying at times, and some of the staged scenes are plain silly.
