It's a melodramatic clusterfuck that crams a shitton into 12 episodes, but it does a lot right, which gorgeous animation, a cast of likable and interesting characters, pleasant music, epic action, a killer opening two parter, a good resolution, and bits of great humor. Definitely flawed, but it was exciting and dramatic and interesting and I'm happy I saw it.
