Just recently bought the Criterion blu-ray of this and rewatched it. It's just a fantastic film all around. Beautifully shot and artfully acted. Peter Lorre's first real role and he killed it. Biggest gripe I can say is the pacing feels a little slow in the beginning. Criterion threw in a bunch of extras which I've yet to complete looking over. I'm sure once the Favorite Movies of 1931 comes out this will be atop my list.
