The plot intensifies, the author set up a few things, and we've got rushes of adrenaline until the disclosure that we were waiting for. It's a preparation volume for the major part because what comes next is the real deal. The aftermath promises a pleasing continuation volume! (I was advised to read #Batman: The Killing Joke before I went through this one, and I also strongly recommend it).
