While I certainly don't follow the Yanks like I used to, there was a time when they meant a heck of a lot to me. Countless hours spent watching & rooting for the pinstripes were some of the very best times I ever had with my father and for that I will always be thankful. The legendary ##Mariano Rivera was involved in so many of these ballgames and a remarkable talent that will go down in history as one of the game's greatest. He said farewell to Yankee Stadium last night and I couldn't help but get choked up at the thought of the moments and memories he provided. I just hope my boys get to watch a great player like this with me some day so we can share something special as well.
