Perhaps most widely known for being the "first Abortion Rom-Com," Obvious Child is a quirky independent film about a woman who makes what is, for her, a quick and easy decision about her health. It may be more of a reflection of my view of the Romantic Comedy genre than anything else, but I found it a bit dull and it did have a few too many poop jokes for my liking (there were plenty of truly funny moments though). At least it wasn't as wholly predictable as your typical rom-com.
