GTA IV is a great experience. I had loads of fun with it, as the missions they created felt truly epic, probably because they felt crazy in a realistic setting. Outside the missions, there is some hilarious satire of a lot from the real world. However, I experienced many minor annoyances, too many to list. These detract from the overall experience, but the game is still great. Rockstar created an okay story here, but nothing compared to RDR, especially when comparing the characters. While not as great as RDR, GTA IV is definitely still worth a play, although its expansions in Episodes from Liberty City are better in nearly every way. For the purposes of my rankings, GTA IV includes its expansions in the "complete edition", as I played it.
