Joe Dante programmed this for a double bill with The Night of the Hunter recently, and it really blew me away. Besides the narrative similarities with The Night of the Hunter, the film is similarly thematically layered, and has some of the most spectacular cinematography I've ever seen. I can't believe this lower-budget '60s film everyone forgot about actually has such amazing cinematography. Highly recommended to any cinephiles who want to see an unsung classic.
