This was so unsettling to read. Joker is twisted and cruel at the best of times, but Azzarello leaves the air so thick with tension that you feel like you are suffocating. It was an interesting take being so close to the character, being there throughout his schemes and along for the ride as he makes his plays. You never feel relaxed, as you never know what he is going to do next. A fantastic read! But not for the faint of heart.
