I caught two mice within the past 24 hours. Never saw a mouse in my house before. They weren't too bright I was able to catch them with a Cheezit each, a cup, and a jar. Netflix helped with the patience. I just put a cheezit on the ground in front of my chair, sat cross legged and watched Narcos Season 2 while waiting for the mouse to come eat the cheezit. Once he started to nibble on the cheezit I paused Narcos because you have to read a lot of subtitles and would miss a bunch if I looked away, and lowered the cup over him swiftly. I then transferred them to a mason jar that has a shaker lid on the top with holes so they didn't suffocate. Then I drove them to the park a couple miles away and let them go. Both just kind of sat there when I dropped them in the park. I'm pretty positive they both probably got eaten already by a owl or snake. The worst part though is now every little sound I hear I feel the need to be investigate. I found their point of entry and there's a guy coming around to plug that up in the morning. I prefer mice over roaches anyday.
