The Doves had all sorts of big hits, but "Black and White Town" is still the one that hits home for me. It pretty much encapsulates how I felt in the 90s--pissed off and desperate to move somewhere else. I mean, the band came from England, but I would've written something like that in high school if my poetry was any good.
