When I saw this in theaters with other fans, we weren't really sure what to make of this. The Eureka Seven movie took a radically different spin on the whole Eureka Seven storyline. Ever wonder how the series would look if Holland and his crew were bad guys, fighting against Renton and Eureka? Or what if the crew members on the Gekko ship were actually 17-year-olds in the bodies of adults? Regardless of these bizarre ideas, the main themes of love against all odds are still present and the visuals look spectacular for all that it's worth.
