Silent GamerYu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game

Every time I decide to come back to this after a break, it's like learning a new game. They've completely changed it yet again O_o I dunno if I like the new version XD It's so, so different.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (遊☆戯☆王オフィシャルカードゲーム, Yū☆Gi☆Ō Ofisharu Kādo Gēmu, Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game) is a Japanese collectible card game developed and published by Konami. It is based on the fictional game of Duel Monsters created by manga artist...

Husky Wing What's it like now?

Silent Gamer They have changed the way your "boss monsters" work (Fusions, Synchros, etc.), pretty much limiting them unless you use the new "Link Monsters". These are a bunch of new cards with arrows on them. These arrows infer certain effects on the zones they point to, essentially transforming the whole game into one that requires careful positioning of cards. In Yu-Gi-Oh!, it never really mattered where you placed your cards on the board. Now it seems integral.

rockshard PhD There's no way to disable "new" and "recently used" in the app drawer but I've been thinking maybe this is a good thing since it prevents the A icons from being at the top of the screen.

rockshard PhD The problem with the weather widgets on smaller icon sizes was this: the graphics displaying the weather for each hour/day would get cut off between the top and bottom edges of the widget, unless you stretch the widget higher, which results in a lot of unnecessary empty space above and below the graphics. On the hourly widget this isn't do much a problem. But in the daily widget, the graphics are smaller and the background isn't transparent, so it looks a lot worse with all that blank space.

rockshard PhD The text is smaller in the opaque one, that must be why.

Silent Gamer That sucks. Are there no interesting events going on near you? Bands and the like, if you are into that sort of thing.

Marcone Antelius Money and transportation are the issues. I'd love to go see a band but work hours got cut and my family only has one car. Plus I just spent over $800 and a few headaches on this desktop. I don't mind staying indoors.
