Such a mediocre gaming experience; epitomises the festering nature of much of the gaming industry.

Played this on both the PC and the iPhone, and it's such a gem of a game. Addictive, simplistic, spot on. A slight twist on tower defence, yet familiar. Bursting with personality, bursting with character and oozing style. Music is wonderful, sound effects spot on.
It's a well polished game made by people who clearly had passion behind what they were doing. It's just a great game, that, despite made of PC, has transitioned onto nearly every console their is. It works beautifully on a touchscreen too.

If you're a point and click fan, you'll like this. It has many point and click tropes, although the protagonist, whilst delivering an array of funny and interesting comments, does come across as a bit of a square at times. But he's likeable.
Anyway, the game is short, but doesn't outstay its welcome, which I liked. The ending felt a bit rushed though, there's an event that's talked about and you think you're going to it but suddenly the game ends before such event which is a bit disappointing.
The puzzles, for the most part, made you think but weren't really hard, and there's a good hint system in the form of a parrot companion. There was one puzzle though that I just couldn't work out and the parrot had to do it for me. Solid ga

A really funny and entertaining adventure. If you try this and hate the dated gameplay, watch all the cut scenes on YouTube; you'd have a very funny film to watch.

Played for the first time, and completed, in 2010. Despite its age, it was a fantastic experience. The music, the atmosphere, the characters and story have so much going for them; it's one of those games where almost everything is just right.
The fighting can grow a little stale, but the story and characters keep you going.
There's a really great plot twist in it as well, which did leave me surprised.
It's one of those games that I have very fond memories of.

My favourite RTS I've ever played. I was never a Warhammer fan. I always thought that the 40k universe was cool, so this game did indeed look sweet. It was. The campaign firstly is really, really good. The gameplay is absolutely great. It tweaked a generic RTS formula to its own to remove boring stuff like resource collection; you just take strategic outposts, which is great cause you end up fighting for such posts and vying for control of the map, rather than simply building a base.
The units from each race are all fantastic, and the ability to zoom in and survey the battlefield is great, especially during the battles as it's a gory game with lots of unique kill animations.
    Great game.
