I imagine it's because people are scared as to how much control it can give the Fine Brothers in determining what is and isn't a reaction video that falls under their React trademark that they're trying to establish. Certainly doesn't help that this is coming out during a time where YouTube content creators are having such a hard time dealing with getting around YouTube's automated copyright system (I imagine the last thing they want is another restriction). So maybe the people are sympathetic, jumping on a bandwagon, or just like to watch something fall.
