    Saved!
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon is probably my best find in my King collection. I found it in a second hand book shop by only 2€, which is natural. This book is not one of his best or most famous, this is no Misery, The Shinning or Carrie.
Yet, this book has a charm of it's own. It's a Stephen King book told by the eyes of a 9 year old, just by that it should be read. And secondly, the horror in it comes mostly by what this girl has to do to survive in the forest that she got lost in. Between eating fish, surviving thunderstorms, eating poisonous water and much more, it's quite amazing how this girl keeps surviving. And you don't want her to die, after you see all that she does and suffers, you think it's only rightful that she survives in the end.
I also enjoyed how she slowly starts getting hallucinations and, by the end of the book, you can't really distinguish what's actually happen and what is just her mind making up.
