Trying to play this on PC with a controller is horrible, getting a 360 one to run is a pain had to switch around the steam settings. To avoid crashes i had to mute the game! And no the default settings for keyboard and mouse are the worst for me as a left hand player. Just went nuts as my changes were constantly deleted as i left the menu by accident by tipping ESC instead of holding it. Damn...

Editing … ah man, sounds like a pain. How much do you like controllers, being left-handed? I imagine the Steam Controller would be one of the worst for that, as much as I love that device.

Editing … It is only partly done with infantry Settings. Default right hand setting would be a good base but not available, everything from scratch. Normaly i can not Change a 360 which is decent except fire/attack Buttons.

Editing … did you just say that PC games do not normally let you change the controls on a 360 controller?

Editing … Barely seen any games that let you rebind gamepad controls, and even if you do it with external software or Steam, the game's HUD isn't gonna adjust to display your new bindings.

Oh, look a mandatory timed mission, those are always fun. -.-

Thank GOD battlefront 2 actually let's you skip levels, if you're stuck! Lvl 15/17 called "Vader’s Fist Strikes Back" was way too hard for me even with save states and an invincibility cheat. I know, right? Get gud etc pp.

It isn't common to see a licensed game in a "Top 10 Games Ever" list, but Pandemic Studios went the extra mile for one of the biggest Sci-Fi franchises ever, and it turned out amazing. The Battlefront series was the answer to the question "what happened during The Battle of X that didn't involve Jedi?" and the second installment threw in every battle you could think of. With space battles and the ability to control a Jedi for a limited time, Battlefront II felt much more open to battles outside the films than the original. With Pandemic Studios squashed like a bug by EA, fans can only hope for a true sequel to the best Star Wars game out there.

Spent many hours playing this game, the game is great and very fun, good graphics. The multiplayer is awesome. The Jedi only map in Mos Eisley is great. A must play.

My favorite Star Wars game. You play famous large scale battles that happened throughout the six movies. Probably the best way i can describe it is it's like the Battlefield games in star wars and in third person. In two they added the ability to play as heroes and villains for a certain time (Jedi, Sith etc). And the biggest improvement was space battles, hop in your favorite ship and destroy the enemies main ships. If your a big Star Wars fan you need to play game!

The multiplayer alone makes the game worth it. I probably spent well over 500 hours on all the stuff the game has to offer. It is basically a battlefield clone, but the star wars universe gives the player a ton of variations on how to play battles, such as using heroes and choosing between a plethora of planets or even fighting in space.

Also, if you can, get the PC version. That one allows you to fight against as many bots and players as possible (64, with 32 on each side), as well as giving you access to a ton of mods and maps for free.

I'll be honest, this game is only in my top games because of the local multiplayer. The amount of hours I've played with my brothers and friends fighting battles back in forth is tremendous. It is hella fun.
