Meat Boy is a fast platform game starring a bloody piece of meat. His girlfriend Bandage Girl has been kidnapped by Dr Fetus and he needs to rescue her in many environments. The game is split up in four distinct environments with a lot of levels each. To complete a level Meat Boy needs to reach Bandage Girl.     So hard, but so rewarding. The controls are very original, allowing the player to leap huge distances and slide against objects in interesting ways. They're not as tight as they should be, but by no means poor. The varied level design always keeps these controls in mind, making for some very original and memorable moments. Letting the player proceed to next set of levels after completing only a portion of the content helps to prevent frustration (allowing players to skip those levels that are giving them incredible headaches). The bandaids are a great way to add replayability to the game without feeling forced.
