Excellent show. First time I've watched Bo B. He's a very interesting guy.

Quite effective. Basically Bo being Bo with his familiar style of randomness, though this is probably the most personal he has ever been. The ending bit - which is, in all honesty, the whole reason you should take the time to even watch this - is emotional, heartfelt and, most importantly, comes off as 100% honest. Maybe I'm not as wowed by this sort or "personal" angle as most others have shown to be on this site because of what I've seen Mike Birbiglia achieve on "My Girlfriends Boyfriend" (still my favorite stand-up bit I've seen), which, from what I remember, is far more emotional and personal then this (though that doesn't take away anything from what Bo is trying to achieve here) - do highly recommended it if you enjoyed that ending bit a lot. But like I said, what Bo achieves in this is quite effective. I enjoyed it a lot.

The best comedy shows make you cry.

#Make Happy is an amazing experience, it takes everything you know about stand up comedy and turns it upside down.
#Bo Burnham had done this before with #what. but in here he takes it to a whole new level. Plus he found out that we could use his talent to not just make us laugh, but to make us think, feel and cry. It's an emotional show. In less than one hour Bo makes you think about music, relationships, our goals in life, our feelings towards celebrities and celebrities jobs as well.
He talks about our generation, because he is one of the few that IS part of our generation.
He decides to take a selfish act and make the show his and not the audience, and it works perfectly. In the end, when he says "I hope you're happy" feels incredibly honest and real.
Seriously, watch it!
