Hugely underrated and way ahead of its time. Carlos Peron, the long-forgotten third member of Yello, complemented Meier and Blank's quirky eccentricity with some darker touches. When Peron left in 1983 all that remained was the silly cabaret troupe most people now know as Yello, but back in the early 80s they were genuine pioneers whose contribution to the development of electronic music was arguably just as important as Kraftwerk's. In any case, this is probably their best album.
