After wondering if I should finish it or not, I did and I listened to your advice @Gries Mia. I fought what I couldn't understand in the beginning and found the answers, and after reading some of the other comics, I started enjoying the last issues with more passion than I did before. The first three issues about the Zero Year are particularly slow and tiring, the villains are uninteresting and impersonnal and Bruce Wayne is still a bit of a moron. I almost dropped out but the Villains Month intrigued me. I didn't find the Joker #1 (6/10) especially good, they missed their point in the Riddler #1 (6/10), the Penguin #1 (8/10) is the best issue about the character I've read so far (I didn't know he could be so brutal), and the Bane #1 (5,5/10) should be avoided until the very last page. I finished with the 24th issue, and it hooked me. It took some time but the conclusion/opening is efficiently presented and the following plot could be interesting. To be continued.

...I read the third volume of #Batman (Vol. 2) and logically, I started the fourth, #Batman, Vol. 4: Zero Year - Secret City...But...what? I don't understand a single thing I read! I took my time, the first storyline is about #Batman's past, checked. Even if it's nowhere near being good, I get it. Then, Villain's Month, uh...wait, where did #Batman go? Why are villains ruining his city? I had to read the web to find my answers: #Justice League: Trinity War. Oh yeah, obviously I need to read Justice League #22-23, Justice League of America #6-7, Justice League Dark #22-23, etc. to understand why Batman is gone...I think there's a long way up ahead before I finish this.

Editing … Really? I didn't have a single clue about why I was totally off the mark there. I just wished to read some Batman but the dude is gone and it's not even explained in his own series...I'm reading Batman without Batman.

Editing … don't sweat about it, just accept that Batman is gone for some reason and all of his villains run free in gotham for a while. You get way more enjoyment out of everything basically if you just roll with it

Editing … From the Villains Month I read Joker #1 and Riddler #1, the first one is said to be one of the worst issues of the "event" (I confirm) and the second one is entirely illogical and ignores the narrative weave. You absolutely shouldn't read this Gries.

Editing … xD. I can't do that. I have to know, it's like driving under a dense fog, I need to understand where I'm going. That's why I read everything in the right order.
