The setting of the second episode felt very strange to me. It seems to take place in your stereotypical anime city. I'm aware of the fact that Lucis is meant to be a representation of modern japan, but I didn't expect them to make it so literal :P Also Spoilerthe idea of the Prince going to a regular public school is more than a little silly Aside from this, I did enjoy the episode and I like these little introductions to the characters. I already feel like I have a grasp of Noctis' personality and I'm confident he will become a personal fave of mine, so it's good to see the other characters backstories explored as well.
