Don't expect too much of this one. For a casual game originating from a once popular call-in show, Hugo transports the original charm well. It is an on-rails platformer where, most of the time, the entire controls are mapped to merely three buttons. Although it's basically the same all over again, this compilation of mini-games does deliver a lot of variety in its settings and ideas. Especially the many different death scenes make this game great. As a TV show it was quite engaging - as a standalone video game, it gets old fast. You can indeed get a fairly decent amount of fun out of this game, but after a week tops you'll be reaching for something else. Which isn't necessarily something bad ...
