"NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits" is a great platforming / puzzle experience – if you can get over its flaws. Making use of the Wiimote, the Player is to help the Avatar by moving blocks, holding pillars, fighting off enemies and creating wind gushes. Pointing at the screen and moving the avatar don't always work well together, however.

Often you don't know what is in the foreground and what is on the same level, so you can't see whether you will fall in a pit or not.

There are some very difficult passages embedded in an otherwise quite easy and linear game, and the boss fight is surprisingly tedious and suffering from a lack of feedback.

At least the music is nice ...
