"God Of War III" is a hack & slay game set inmidst of greek mythology. Its amount of gore is very intense and the presentation at times quite stylized.

But the game feels *very* outdated. The character models for the minions are mostly the same from the predecessor, just with more polygons; and the story has been told at least twice already: Kratos wants revenge. We get it. Moreover, with the same mere core mechanic of progressively upgrading Kratos, it really feels just like "God Of War 1 HD".

And there are "save stations"! That one especially sent me 5 years right back. In the day and age of auto-saving this really feels simply out of place.

The auto-targeting often picks the wrong-- long story short, I did not enjoy this game.
