"Virtual Springfield" is hardly a game as there is no goal to it. You stroll around in the town in first-person perspective, experiencing the characters and places from the TV show in an interactive, but also a more candid way.

There are lots of small gags in style of the show, although nothing as funny as its best gags.

Occasionally you can interact with the world, pick up items and unlock new paths in adventure fashion, but these merely trigger more gags. You can also play the arcades and other mini-games that are unsophisticated and very simplistic.

It's a nice game for younger Simpsons fans and for creating a map of your favorite places from the show if you're into that, but definitely not a must-have.
