Winter Games is a seasonal sports game based on winter disciplines - as the title would suggest. There are seven disciplines, basically mini-games, which you can do all in a row or individually: ski jump, hot dog, figure skating, bobsled, biathlon, speed skating and free skating.

Like many other games of that era, the developers understood well how to create somewhat complex mini-games with rather simple controls, namely just a joystick and a single button.

At least in most cases - in disciplines like figure skating the results of your control input often seems to be arbitrary.

Other than that, the game gets boring fast.
