Richard & Alice at first glance might look like another cheap game that's trying to get on the increasingly popular indie bandwagon to make a dime or two with little to no effort, but the reality is it's far different than your typical indie game. The gameplay consists of point & click type puzzles with tons of dialogue, the visuals are unpleasant, to say the least, and it's a game with a slow burn. Despite all of that, it has a highly interesting tale to tell, so it's worth enduring through some of its quirks and/or faults.
Pros: Superb writing, great characters, story and atmosphere, good music, solid (if a bit simple) puzzles, multiple endings with no clear branching paths
Cons: Infuriatingly sluggish movement, ugly visuals, one puzzle in particular was really illogical, a couple of moments in the story are slightly odd
