I suppose when you've seen hundreds of horror films, there's not much this one can deliver :/
Of course, fears are one of the things that are 100% subjective (next to humor and fetishes), so perhaps this just doesn't do it for me.
(The following isn't really "spoilery," and reveals no story retails, but I figured those who like to go into films completely blind would rather not read)
SpoilerI just expected more to happen. I'm fine with slow pacing, I've seen plenty of excellent horror movies with slow pacing, but in them, something actually happened, or there was decent buildup. There was nothing chilling at all, just family tensions and what have you. It wasn't boring, I was enjoying myself, but this had no horror for me. A shame, that is.
