This is the only Halo game that left me underwhelmed.
It isn't a bad game by any standards. I enjoyed Firefight, appreciated getting Halo 3's DLC as an extra (meaning it has the definitive version of my favourite multiplayer) and I did like the campaign even though it isn't quite up there with 1, 3 or Reach.
I just can't shake the feeling it could have been so much more if it hadn't started life as a Halo 3 expansion pack and Bungie had given it their complete focus.
