This game is absurdly difficult. A wayward bullet could end your run because the resources of scarcity of recovery items in the game. In a good Rougelike you would be able to build your character to slowly combat the unfairness of the world. In this game you are just fucked if you can't get a good item in the first floor. However to combat this they have a checkpoint system of sorts, but the requirements for each new checkpoint are insane. This is a game where you are expected to play over, and over again and learn about the mechanics. However the bullet hell games they are trying to copy are consistent every playthrough, or somewhat similar, but the level changes everytime you re-enter the Gungeon.

The reason why I gave it a 6 is because of how cool the mechanics are for the 10 hours I played, and the variety of weapons and characters in the game. I do not think this is one of the best rougelikes I have played, but at least it has the best soundtrack....
