Just started re-watching the episode Selfless, and there's a little thing I love TV could use more of. Willow has just arrived back in Sunnydale. In the first scene everyone is unpacking for her so she can get settled back in Buffy's house. But nobody says anything about it. There's no "Gee, we're super happy to be getting you settled back in." Instead, they're having a conversation about Anya and the unpacking is just a thing that's happening. It's subtle and natural (and the sort of thing newer seasons of MLP could use more of). Show don't tell.
