It was an interesting experience for me, being born in the early 90s, to be able to go back and see what it was like during those days. The tedious dialing of numbers just to get into a session to realize noone posted new messages is a bit aggravating but true to the setting. I myself, being interested in early computer infrastructure and networking, found it fascinating. Sadly I didn't get invested in the characters enough to be enthralled by the actual plot happening around me and ultimately the game would have fallen flat for me if it didn't have that retro charm.
