Finished with the first season and it's not all that bad, nothing really that made me go "wow" though. The whole being on a space station instead of a space ship works well, though it does feel inadequate if you've already seen something like the reboot of Battlestar Galactica. Definitely can see it become better though - after all it arguably took TNG 3 season to really get going. So far with the new character I'm quite fond of Odo & Bashir, Bashir particularly because he has the same sort of charm that made me like Gaius Baltar (from what I remember at least, it has been ages since I've seen Galactica).
