Gameplay wise, it was one the best Wing Commander game I've experienced. I remember killing enemies that blows up and releasing a shockwave, giving me a sense of satisfaction each time it happened. The game was gorgeous, it had gigantic spaceships and great set pieces. Great game for a great franchise.
