    Oh my God, wow.
This may be one of my favorite covers ever. Up there with #Hurt by Cash and Another Brick in the Wall by #Korn.
It has so much emotion, his vocals really fit, and they were smart enough to not go full "Disturbed" here, which probably wouldn't have fit the song.

Editing … As a huge fan of the original, it's a decent cover imo. Disturbed is a good band, and they showed smart restraint in this song like you pointed out, but I just don't think his voice fits the song.

Editing … I'm a huge fan of the original as well, and I wont say this cover is better than the original. But, IMO, is still pretty damn impressive. I really thought the vocals fit well in this version, since it was darker as well.

Editing … I'm a big fan of David Draiman's other covers and this ones fairly decent as well. Didn't really come into his own until the 3 minute mark, but I enjoyed it regardless :)

Editing … I agree, really good cover. I wouldn't put it in the same league as Cash's cover of Hurt though.

Editing … I guess. Lately I've been listening much more to the original version of Hurt than Cash's cover. Though I guess the same will eventually be true for this one as well.

Editing … Part of why I find Cash's cover so amazing is that I don't even like the original song that much, the lyrics are great and credit where it's due for writing them but I don't like NIN's delivery. Cash's vocals/acoustic totally transform it into one of my favourite songs.

Editing … I get that as well. They are two completely different songs, both really, really good. (The only song where I had to include the original AND the cover in my all time favs)I can totally see someone loving one version and disliking the other. Personally I love them both. Cash's version can really fit the heartbroken message of the song. But Reznor's sound IS despair which is what the song is intended to be, specially within the rest of the album.

Editing … I totally agree with @richardpale on Cash's cover. I'm sorry @nodley, but I don't find his voice to be a good fit. It's a good cover though, he stayed true to the song and Disturbed is a good band. I really love their song "Darkness", so beautiful...

Editing … So generic, it's like a google search, bit boring like. And that is not as perfect as Disturbed imo.

Editing … The reason why it became generic is because Queen's live performances are considered some of the greatest ever, and this is coming from a guy who only really likes 4 songs from them. There's also Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" from 1969 and Aretha Franklin's cover of "Respect" from 1965, but if you prefer Disturbed that's fine by me. They're definitely a good band, and that performace was very good.
