It turns out that alternating between wired/wireless is the best thing to happen to mice.
This is definitely the best mouse I've ever had the pleasure of owning. Several rebindable buttons, adjustable DPI, supports multiple profiles that can be changed on the fly, and can be used wired or wirelessly. The design resembles the #Logitech MX620, the most ergonomic mouse I've used, so that's a plus.

  Editing … If I want to recharge it, I can just pop in the charging cable, which is connected to the back of my desktop. If I'm done recharging, I pop it out, and let the cable rest, off the mousepad, for when it's needed again. Either way, the mouse is fully functional.
