Trenched is a game from what's becoming one of my favorite new genres, the Tower Defense/Action hybrid. You know the score, enemy sends waves of varying baddies in varying numbers at you and you have to fight them off with a variety of weapons and turrets that you lay on the battlefield. The multiplayer aspect makes it tons of fun to take down the evil "Broadcast" with a few friends online and Double Fine's tongue-in-cheek humor is spread all throughout. My main complaint is that it's pretty short, only 15 short missions and even with all the trench customization, there not a lot of replay value.
