Easy to learn, hard to master, like all great games. While I will say that Brawl is *better*, Melee is the game that made me fall in love with this series. Plenty of unlockables for hours of single player joy, even more potential hours of multiplayer joy. It's just an all out Nintendo fangasm that expanded on the original Smash Bros in every way imaginable.
