Saints Row: The Third has given me a solid first impression. There's arrows when you drive like in Sleeping Dogs, Simpsons Hit and Run, and Chinatown Wars. The lack of those was a glaring flaw in the ps2 GTAs and also GTA IV. Controls and graphics are decent. Had to change the camera speed cause it was sluggish but it's all good. Opening mission was stupid and boring but once I got past that the gameplay got good. I like messing with my character's appearance. She's got dumb blue anime hair. I also like that your character is fully voiced. It's nice that the game is full on goofy. One thing that I didn't like about San Andreas was that it wasn't serious or goofy enough for me. GTA IV was full on serious, which I liked, and this game is full on silly, which I also like. In Sleeping Dogs, Red Dead Redemption, and Bully, I think it was more the setting than the tone that appealed to me.
