*Looks at avg user score.* Geez, what's with the hate-on for this movie? Is it the tonal differances from the John Waters original? Hairspray has catchy music, a terrific and vocally talented cast, fun characters, great comedy and gorgeous cinematography. It's Grease for the 21st century but without the thirty year old high school students, terrible messages and rapey vibes. DID SHE PUT UP A FIGHT?!?!
