Pokemon Diamond/Pearl was my first Pokemon game, and the game that I spent the longest time playing. These are fantastic games which pushed the series forward with its online innovations and revised physical/special move classification. Pokemon Diamond/Pearl has my favorite soundtrack in the series so far and the region itself is very well designed with distinct locations. Both the character designs and new Pokemon designs are very well done and this generation has my favorite starters. Though the gameplay has been topped by the later installments in the series, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl will always be one of my favorites games of all time.
