I was really impressed by this. Having completed it merely an hour ago I'm still collecting my thoughts, but at the moment I feel as though, like The Stanley Parable, this game was ultimately about the player-creator relationship. Both games however elicited very different, almost contradictory sentiments within me. When I walked away from the Stanley Parable, I felt as though the player-creator relationship was distant, and in some sense artificial. The Beginner's Guide however left me feeling that this relationship could be incredibly intimate, yet still artificial (in a totally different respect). I don't want to say much more for I fear I may spoil the experience for someone else. Needless to say, I recommend you play this game, especially if you like games where you end up spending more time thinking about them, than you do actually playing them!

Editing … I would agree. I just finished it and can't do much more than think about it right now... It's definitely interesting, probably as much as The Stanley Parable, but in a totally different way
