I played this game for the first time about 4 years ago and found that I really couldn't get into it (I can't remember specifically why). I decided to give it another shot and I'm really digging it this time round. I'm not sure if my tastes have changed, or if I wasn't in the right mind frame to enjoy it last time; I certainly don't remember recognising how self-aware it is. I think I'll stop typing and start playing through the third act right now!
