How did this get bad reviews I don't even... The Hobbit is a great 3D platformer slash action game. The graphics look very nice (minus some awful mouth animations), and the music is at times shockingly good. The level design is great and a lot of the collectables are hidden well. Collecting the courage points (exp) and money is a lot of fun, as is choosing what to spend the money on. The combat is the right balance of challenge and controls fine. The platforming requires some skill and can be pretty intense. The story is meh but that's why you have the book and movie. The quests and side quests are well laid out for you. The game can be a bit glitchy though.
