Dark Cloud is a very fun action rpg. The graphics are good for the time and the music works well. There's a neat town building mechanic that feels unique and interesting. The controls are decent, and there's multiple playable characters, each with their own strengths. The highlight is the randomized dungeons, which a ton of fun to explore, as well as the deep weapon upgrade system. Bosses are poor.
